My Tech Life in 2022

A Summary of Samuel Yahaya's tech life in 2022 (for the African Digital Conference and Awards (2022))

This summary of my tech life in 2022 begins at the KCCA (Kids Code Club Africa) boot camp. At the 2022 KCCA boot camp, I worked on some mini-projects with a popular framework which is Bootstrap. Examples include a site about food, a car-selling site, and other mini-projects which strengthened my CSS skills. I also learned and practised some JavaScript.

After the KCCA Summer boot camp, school resumed. My learning skills were put to test as I was faced with learning python to be able to compete in the 1st edition of the Axia Tech Challenge.

I was able to learn at a basic level, the syntax and semantics of Python. This gave me the upper hand as I was able to learn faster.

I participated in the competition and my school won out of the 20 schools that participated.

After the competition, I cleaned some of the code which was written during the competition and made some changes. I uploaded the modified versions of the code to my GitHub page at Sammy949.

Also, I made some changes to my portfolio like adding a dark-mode toggle which works with local storage. I also modified the content and made some changes to my CV. I also uploaded the changes to my GitHub account (Sammy949).
